An interactive reading app based on the colourful Disney Australia pre-school series Balloon Barnyard has recently been released.
The Balloon Barnyard Books app incorporates characters and stories from the television series, encouraging children aged 2+ to learn to read independently.
Pip, Streak and the Balloon Barnyard gang feature in the storytelling app, which encourages children to read with a guide, listen, or ‘tap and hear’ a range of stories with interactive elements. The app has been designed to encourage independent learning and play.
Stories covered include: ‘Afraid of the Dark Day’, ‘Bath Day’, ‘Hiccup Day’, ‘Hot Day’ and ‘Paint Day’, inspired by the television episodes of the same name.
Balloon Barnyard producers Like A Photon Creative partnered with digital platform Kindergo to develop this new resource for pre-schoolers.
Balloon Barnyard Books is available worldwide in the App Store for IOS devices.
